What patients ask most.
Why is there a fee?
It’s heva’s service fee for processing the digital payment: 5 % of the total amount for most methods (bank transfer is the exception). It’s still the same or lower than options like Western Union, but much more convenient for the patient and your practice.
Is it safe?
Yes. heva uses Stripe and PayPal — the same processors used by millions of stores worldwide. We never see or store the card number.
Does financing affect my credit?
It depends. Klarna and Afterpay “Pay in 4” only do a soft check (no impact). Long monthly plans may require a hard check. Each option shows it clearly.
What if the patient makes a mistake?
You can resend the link or create a new one. Nothing is charged until confirmed. If they paid by mistake, let us know and we process the refund.
